Inspired by the fish and chips (Brits call fries “chips”) shops found on the streets of London, Chuck’s Grub is the first traditional fish and chips stall to hit the metro, with two branches located at the Powerplant Mall in Makati City and TriNoma Mall in Quezon City.

Chuck’s Grub Trinoma, 2nd floor Food Choices, Tel 507-0005. This branch is only 1-month old. Opened in April 2012.

Golden fish nuggets seasoned in ground salt and pepper, soaked in beer batter and deep-fried until golden brown

Not familiar with the kind of fish that they serve so this was very useful. I ordered the Full Monty with Garlic Mayo and my all-time fave Calamares.

The Full Monty (Php 280). 4-piece sampler of dory, snapper, cobbler and halibut

Calamares (Php 150)

Served in paper cone
