THANK YOU, BlackBerry!!!

WITH the continuous advancements in today’s smartphone technologies, connecting with someone and sustaining it has never been easier.

Leading the way in enabling people to connect and maintain their relationships is Research in Motion (RIM), makers of the popular BlackBerry smartphone. The star-studded “IN THE NAME OF LOVE: The BlackBerry Show” held last February 6 at the Trinoma Mall Activity Center showcased how it helps users stay connected with family, friends and associates.

Hosted by the Queen of Talk, Kris Aquino, the event gathered some of local entertainment’s brightest stars to talk about how their BlackBerry smartphones help them navigate their way through their adventures and misadventures in love.

Avid celebrity BlackBerry users who shared their heart-warming stories include Dennis Trillo, Jennylyn Mercado, Carla Abellana, Geoff Eigenmann, Kris Bernal, Aljur Abrenica, Joshua Dionisio, Barbie Forteza, Jhake Vargas, Bea Binene, Jon Avila, Sunshine Cruz-Montano and Gab Valenciano.

The audience had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest BlackBerry smartphones including the BlackBerry Torch 9800, the world’s first smartphone to combine a BlackBerry keyboard with a full touch screen, displayed in the demo booths.

Seven lucky audience members became instant BlackBerry owners via a special raffle during the event.
